We had the awesome opportunity to be at the Peoria Airport tonight to help welcome a very special Marine home from Iraq. I don't even know his name, but he was wounded in a car bomb incident and has been at Walter Reed in Washington DC. He flew in tonight with his mom. It was a very touching time for us both. Please pray for him. It looked like the flight was pretty touch on him.
We haven't heard from Adam. Just keep praying. The Marine Corp has set up a web site for families. We can write him a letter and email it to this web site. They will print it off and deliver it directly to him whereever he is within about 24 to 36 hours. What a great thing. He doesn't have to have access to email or anything. If the Marine Corp knows where he is - they can get the mail to him. He has a printed letter and not just an email that he will forget. Isn't technology great! We are thankful.
Please pray right now for
1. This young wounded Marine and his family
2. The families of the Marines killed earlier this week.
3. Safety and comfort for all our troops.
4. Thank God for technology and the communication capabilities it affords us
In Christ's love and protection
Jill
